Describes how to create a system definition in the portal system landscape. The SAP backend system with a dedicated host of mybackend.mycompany.com is used, accessing client 123. The SID is TST and the ITS and Web AS use the integrated ICM on port 8000. A system alias MYALIAS is assigned so that iViews can access the system.
