Use
You want to:
· To get an overview of your server architecture for a solution.
· adjust the graphic of the systems in a solution to your requirements in your view, for Solution Monitoring.
Prerequisites
You have:
· Defined systems for your solution, in the System Landscape Maintenance (transaction SMSY).
· assigned Solution Directory roles to users.
Procedure
1. Choose the transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER.
2. Choose the Solution Landscape tab in the Operations Setup area.
3. Choose the Solution Landscape link.
You go to the Solution Directory.
4. Open your solution.
5. Choose the structure element Systems.
6. Choose the Graphic tab.
You see the system components and interfaces per system.
To see details (system components) of the systems, choose the link to the system in the graphic, or the structure element directly.
7. You can perform the following system activities in the graphic:
· General graphic display
¡ Define view
i. Choose the Complete View link in the system graphic, to define your view.
ii. Specify a view name.
iii. Create your view.
iv. Save your entries.
¡ Adjust the graphic size with a symbol or percentage
¡ Adjust the font size with Attributes
¡ Change the size and position of the graphic manually
...
i. The cursor is in the graphic to be able to move it.
ii. You can change the size by left-clicking on the points which appear on the edges of the graphic.
¡ Print graphic
§ With the symbol in the Register tab
§ With the Graphic In Place ß> In Separate Window symbol in the menu bar.
¡ Export graphic as Power Point or Word document
· Show and hide system components
...
i. The cursor is in the graphic of a system component.
ii. Click the right-hand mouse key.
A dialog box appears.
iii. Flag elements and confirm.
You can hide an element in the same way. You can only hide elements which you have previously shown.
Result
The system copies your new view in the Solution Monitoring graphic. You can now use it.
