Overview of Active Solutions in Solution Manager

Definition

This overview displays all active solutions in your SAP Solution Manager solution landscape. If you have not yet defined any solutions, the overview is empty.

Use

From the overview, you can:

create a new solution.

open an existing solution

copy solutions

Deactivate solutions

Activate inactive solutions

Go to Solution Monitoring sessions

set-up automatic refresh

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

When you first call the transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER, you go to the Active Solutions overview. If you have already been in a solution, you go to the one which you were most recently in. Choose Back or the shortcut Solution Overview, to go to the Active Solutions overview.

Structure

Functions in the solution overview

Solution

Choose the name of a solution, to access the area in it in which you were last.

Last Update

The date and time show when the status data was last refreshed.

Manual update:

Choose Update Alert for the solution.

Automatic update:

Automatic refresh: You can set an interval for the automatic refresh of all active solutions (in minutes). It should be between 5 and 10 minutes.

You can activate automatic refresh for individual solutions or for all solutions:

Individual solution

To activate automatic refresh for a solution, choose das Symbol Automatic Refresh Inactive This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

To deactivate automatic refresh for a solution, choose Automatic Refresh Active This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

All Solutions

To activate or deactivate automatic refresh for all solutions, choose Activate All or Deactivate All, respectively.

Status of:

· EWA Reports

· System Monitoring

· Business Process Monitoring

· Central Administration

Red flags indicate that the data of the systems in the session are overdue. Continuing system operation is not currently under threat.

Red symbols indicate serious errors or alerts. Continuing system operation is under threat.

Yellow symbols warn of problems to which you must attend, but which are not currently critical. Continuing system operation is not currently under threat.

Green symbols indicate that a monitored value is within allowed limits

Gray symbols mean that the system has no status information.

You can go directly into the dialog view, by clicking on the symbol.
