You can only create non-SAP products yourself.

1. Select the landscape component General Product Definitions and choose Create in the context menu, or Other Object ® Product ® Create.
2. Enter the data required, in the following dialog box.
3. Save your entries.
The system shows the new product in the left-hand screen area.
4. Specify the product key and the product versions in the Product Versions tab, to define versions of the new product.
5. Save your entries.
The system automatically assigns a sequence to the product versions. You can change this sequence with the arrow keys.
The system automaticaaly assigns a main instance to the product, in the Components tab.
6. You can change the main instances of the new product in the Components tab.
7. Save your entries.
8. Set the Active flag for your product, to be able to use it to define your system landscape.
To flag a product as Active:
¡ at least one product version is defined, as described under 4.
¡ at least one main instance is assigned to the product, as described under 5-6.
You can only use active products to define your system landscape. Inactive products are hidden from all product selection possible entries help in the entire Solution Manager.
The system puts these entries in the system settings, where you can show or hide products.
