Logon Failed in SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1

Problem Description

Authentication verifies the user’s identity before he or she is granted access to the portal or to the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (AS) Java.

When authentication fails the following message appears:

The diagtool for authentication problems gathers in one file all the necessary traces, logs, and configuration settings for analyzing authentication problems.


1. Download the diagtool from SAP Note 957666.

2. Use one of the following SAP Notes for instructions on using the diagtool:

SAP Note 958107 Using Diagtool for Troubleshooting Kerberos

SAP Note 982127 Troubleshooting Authentication Problems

SAP Note 1045019 Web Diagtool for Collecting Traces

3. Evaluate the collected data to identify and correct the problem.
