How do I know if Solution Manager Diagnostics is required for my SAP solution?

Solution Manager Diagnostics is required if you run at least one SAP Web Application Server JAVA Stack in your SAP Solution. Most commonly used SAP solutions using the SAP Web Application Server Java Stack are: SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Exchange Infrastructure, CRM Internet Sales, mySAP ERP Employee/Manager Self Services. At the start of your project, SAP will analyze the need of Solution Manager Diagnostics within the Safeguarding Planning session.
